About the role

Join the Orica Metals West Asset & Maintenance Team as a Fitter, supporting mobile and fixed plant maintenance across Orica sites in South Australia.

Working on a variety of rosters including 8/6, 14/14, or 14/7, you'll provide maintenance and technical support while working closely with the Senior Site Supervisor and Asset Team.

What you will be doing

Service and repair mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Provide maintenance support to site operations.
Manage spare parts, vendor relationships, and equipment performance.
Drive continuous improvement and maintenance planning.
Maintain asset records and conduct compliance audits.
Move across Orica sites to perform preventative maintenance and support equipment repairs.

What you will bring

Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification (Essential)
Dual trade with Auto-Electrical (Desirable)
3 + post trade experience in similar role within the heavy industry or mining sector
Heavy Rigid driving license is advantageous but not essential
Trainer and Assessor Certificate (Desirable)
Previous exposure to work permits
