We are looking for Construction Technicians to be based in and around Adelaide, South Australia.
You will be the face of the OTIS brand and responsible for installing lifts, escalators, and travelators in compliance with the relevant codes and Otis specifications and procedures.
This permanent role will be reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with other Installers, Electricians, Adjusters & Field Engineers as well as Construction Coordinators.
Install and Modernise lifts, escalators, and travelators and work to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.
Ensure timely completion of defects identified during service / handing over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager.
Occasional travel to regional Adelaide.
Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers of your processes.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials properly and safeguard such property.
Perform work in accordance with the relevant lift industry codes and standards and maintain and work to the Quality System.
Comply with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact on the environment or any employee.
Have an Electrical trade qualification or equivalent experience .
Min 5 years as a Construction Technician.
Have working at heights, Rigging and Dogging experience.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Be available for occasional travel to regional Adelaide.
Enjoys communicating with various stakeholders at different levels and working closely with others in the field.
Solutions-oriented, independent, and well-organized.
Willing to travel in & out of the region and able to work unsupervised.
Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.
Able to plan and prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
