What a day in the life looks like:
- Responsible for repair, maintenance and service on AMR machines and equipment.
- Responsible for scheduling-work and repairing products at customer locations.
- Satisfy in a timely and complete fashion, all business reporting documentation including but not limited to timesheets, repair orders, machine checklists, receiving records, maintenance reports, expense reports, and repair order logs.
- Work in with our Software Partners (Geek +) to understand and become an SME and first level software support locally for our clients
- Troubleshoot and provide assistance and support on L1 Software Support tickets and escalating where necessary. Where escalated, providing timely updates to the customer and seeing the resolution through.
- Provide ticketing updates, and resolution, within designated service levels
- Coordinate with other team members, and service providers, for those repairs which may be required on our customer’s sites
- Manage the pools of spare parts and devices
- Work with internal and broader external support, R&D, project, and engineering ecosystems
- Develop procedural documentation / reporting for other engineering and support teams
- Assist in working with onsite engineering teams where required
- Ability to travel interstate and overseas, subject to available personal time
What you bring to the team:
- Background in mechatronics, dual trade (electrical/mechanical), or relevant experience.
- Experience working in direct contact with customers on service-related activities preferred.
- Troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical and electrical systems. Many of our technicians have backgrounds in automotive mechanic, Robotics, or as a field service technician working on mobile and electrical equipment.
- Background with automation controls systems, including industrial communication protocols.
- Must be able to read electrical schematics.
- Supply chain background will be highly regarded.
