Ready to make a real impact?

Join our Customer Engagement team as a Customer Growth Representative in Perth, where you’ll help drive growth through outbound sales and retention activity. You’ll contact customers through targeted campaigns to understand their needs, manage objections and match them with suitable products. This is a high-volume phone-based sales role with clear daily targets, team coaching and a strong focus on compliance, customer service and commercial outcomes.

This is a permanent full-time position working on a rotating roster between 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. To support your onboarding and development, you'll spend your few months working in our Perth office. Once fully trained and comfortable working from home, you'll have access to flexible working arrangements, with a mix of office and work-from-home days each week.

What you’ll do

Make outbound calls across customer growth, acquisition and retention campaigns
Engage customers to understand needs, manage objections and identify sales opportunities
Promote and sell Alinta Energy products and services to new and existing customers nationally
Meet daily, weekly and monthly conversion, call efficiency and KPI targets
Follow quality, compliance and customer service frameworks while supporting customer queries

Your experience

Experience in customer service, sales or a contact center environment
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport over the phone
Confidence and resilience to make outbound calls, manage objections and achieve performance targets
Understanding of customer service and sales techniques and principles
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Sales CRM Software (Hubspot, Salesforce, 365) experience highly regarded

Please note this role requires full working rights within Australia.

This role is best suited to a motivated, phone-based sales professional who enjoys outbound campaigns, clear targets and customer conversations. Utilities, telco, retail sales, door-to-door sales or campaign-based sales experience will be highly regarded.
