The Opportunity
Redlands by the Bay Retirement Resort is a warm, close-knit community set on beautifully maintained grounds, just moments from the Redland Bay esplanade. With outstanding amenities, flexible support services, and easy access to shops, hospitals, and major roads, it's the perfect place to embrace bayside living on your own terms. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care, social support and medical assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Enrolled Nurses have a strong focus on clinical standards, promoting independence and building connections with residents in a community-style environment.
This is a casual role, helping our team on an ad-hoc basis with covering leave or when we need an extra pair of hands!
Your Impact
- Work independently within resident units to provide in-home nursing support, including medical assistance, wound care, personal hygiene and general daily support
- Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as fellow team members, family members, paramedics or GPs
- Complete administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date in our Care Management System (Alayacare)
- Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
What you'll bring
- Minimum 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse, with a passion for community care, independence and wellbeing
- Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
- Strong communication skills, with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents
- Division 2 AHPRA registration, current CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
- Valid driver’s licence + vehicle (highly regarded)
