Ovolo Sydney is seeking an Executive Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team during an exciting period of transformation. As we undergo a comprehensive property refurbishment and relaunch, we need a guest-obsessed leader who understands that our success is measured not just in numbers, but in the genuine connection we create with every guest and the memories we craft.

Your Mission: Elevate Every Guest Experience

As our Executive Assistant Manager, you'll be the driving force behind operational excellence, working alongside our Area General Manager to ensure every guest feels valued, understood, and delighted. This isn't just about managing operations; it’s about orchestrating experiences that turn first-time visitors into lifelong advocates.

What You'll Own:

Guest Experience Leadership

Champion a guest-first culture where every team member understands their role in creating exceptional moments
Implement service standards that anticipate and exceed guest needs and desires
Lead by example, being visible and accessible to both guests and team members
Develop personalised service protocols that make every guest feel like our only guest

Commercial Excellence with Heart

Drive revenue growth across Rooms and F&B while never compromising on guest satisfaction
Analyse guest feedback and market trends to identify new revenue opportunities that add genuine value
Optimise pricing strategies that reflect the premium experience we deliver
Partner with sales and marketing teams to create packages and experiences guests actually want

Operational Mastery

Oversee Rooms Division, Maintenance, and F&B operations with a focus on seamless guest journeys
Lead the property refurbishment project, ensuring minimal disruption to guest experiences
Implement systems and processes that empower your team to deliver consistent, exceptional service
Maintain the highest standards in all areas while fostering an environment of continuous improvement

Team Inspiration & Development

Build and nurture a team of hospitality professionals who are passionate about guest service
Create a culture where team members feel valued, empowered, and excited to exceed expectations
Provide coaching and mentorship that develops future leaders in hospitality

What Makes You Perfect for This Role:

Your Experience:

5+ years in senior hotel operations with proven success in both rooms and F&B
Could be a step up for someone wanting to be the next General Manager.
Track record of increasing revenue while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction scores
Experience managing property renovations or openings with minimal guest impact
Demonstrated ability to build high-performing, guest-focused teams
