About the role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Technical Services Engineer to join our Pilbara business, having a preferred base in Perth, with regular travel to our Pilbara operations, providing hands-on support across the region.
This is a highly technical, customer-facing role focused on delivering advanced drill and blast support, including blast design and Electronic Blasting Systems (EBS). You will play a pivotal part in supporting customer operations, improving blast outcomes, and implementing cutting-edge blasting technologies across mine sites.

What you will be doing
Support the delivery of technical blasting projects that add value to customer operations;
Assist with blast design and on-site technical support, including EBS systems;
Work closely with customers and internal teams to coordinate and execute projects;
Build strong, collaborative relationships with site stakeholders;
Provide guidance and support on blasting practices and product application;
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across blasting operations;
Actively develop your technical capability through training and practical experience.
What you will bring
Experience in shotfiring, drill & blast, or mining operations, OR a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Mining Engineering or similar);
Understanding of blasting principles or mining processes (open cut experience beneficial but not essential);
A strong commitment to safety and teamwork;
Willingness to learn, adapt, and build technical expertise;
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in dynamic site environments;
Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset;
Awareness of environmental considerations such as vibration, dust, and noise (advantageous but not required).
