Catering Administration Assistant

No two days are the same in this role. You'll provide administrative support across the Catering Team while working closely with multiple departments to help ensure the smooth operation of our venue and events.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Arena Operations team.
- Assist with data entry, filing, record keeping, and document management.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other administrative documents using Microsoft Office.
- Support event and operational planning through accurate administration and coordination.
- Maintain organised office systems and ensure records are up to date.
- Assist with ordering office and operational supplies.
- Liaise professionally with staff, suppliers, contractors, and visitors.
- Support operational teams with general administration and event preparation as required.
- Complete additional administrative and operational tasks as directed.

- Available to work weekdays, weekends and varied hours depending on operational requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
- Current Food Safety Certificate.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Built by the Brisbane City Council as a world class multipurpose facility, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre formed part of Brisbane's bid for the 1992 Olympic Games. The Centre has been operated since its inception by Legends Global (formerly ASM Global and AEG Ogden Brisbane Pty Ltd). Ownership was transferred to Stadiums Queensland (formerly Major Sports Facilities Authority) from 1 July 2002.
