Your opportunity
Over the next two years, you’ll complete a series of rotations across different areas of Lifeblood’s ICT division, gaining exposure to a variety of work experiences and specialties.
For example, you might spend 12 months with one team and then complete two additional 6‑month rotations in different areas. These rotations may involve moving between teams and functions within ICT and can include both technical and non-technical disciplines, providing a broad understanding of the organisation and its technology services.
Some of the functions that you could be involved in within ICT:
- AI Innovation; working with data and analytical and generative AI.
- Integration; using the new integration platform Boomi, could be part of the team that develops and supports application integrations and patterns.
- Application Development; develop internal applications using Java, React, React Native, Java Script and associated cloud technologies such as Power Platform. Help scale our citizen developer program by working with stakeholders within the business who require assistance with developing apps and workflows.
- Business Analysis; work with customers of ICT to analyse, interpret, define and document their requirements for ICT systems and services. Be involved in conducting market and industry research to identify opportunities, develop financial models to inform decision making and be involved in tender or other procurement activities.
- Automation; Testing, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Integration, Networking, Server Management and Data
- Emerging Technology: New technologies are emerging at an unprecedented rate. Get involved with test and learn experiments using some of the very newest technologies to identify new organisational opportunities or to apply toward solving existing problems.
- Cyber Security: You’ll have opportunities to develop and apply skills in areas such as Cyber assurance, identity, and security operations. While these capabilities are relevant across many ICT teams, you may also have the opportunity to complete rotations within these specialist areas to gain deeper hands-on experience.
- Application Support: Our application support team manage numerous applications as well as providing a second level of support for our most critical applications. This includes working with vendors and business stakeholders.
What You Will Bring to Lifeblood:
- Degrees/Masters in STEM-related areas. Minimum requirement is Bachelor level.
- Passion for Information Technology, particularly in cutting-edge areas such as AI, Machine Learning, Development and Cyber.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Well-developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify, assess, and resolve problems.
- Collaborative with an appetite to work with others to achieve a shared goal.
- A growth mindset, open to new ideas and changing circumstances.
- An attitude of Continuous Learning.
- MUST be a citizen of Australia or have Permanent Residency visa with the ability to work in Australia.
- Must not have worked using your university qualifications in another organization.
