The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to become a valued member of our Physiotherapy team in a rewarding and varied Allied Health Assistant role. Manning Base Hospital is part of the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD), servicing over 900,000 people across Hunter, New England, and the Lower Mid North Coast. Wingham Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation for up to 16 patients, as well as outpatient and hydrotherapy services. Working alongside experienced Physiotherapists, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality care by assisting with therapy programs, supporting patient mobility, and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your role will also include a variety of administrative responsibilities such as coordinating appointments, scheduling patients, auditing and ordering equipment, and providing clinical support during therapy sessions.
