This role will suit someone who enjoys balancing detail with influence, can work confidently with senior stakeholders, and brings strong financial services compliance knowledge, particularly across Australian Credit Licence obligations.
Day to day you can expect to deliver on the following:

- Help manage CampaignAgent’s Australian Credit Licence obligations, including responsible manager obligations and the ASIC annual compliance certificate
- Manage internal dispute resolution and external dispute resolution complaints, including liaison with AFCA and insurers where required
- Partner with the business to implement operational procedures and controls that support compliance obligations, governance forums and reporting requirements
- Facilitate risk workshops to identify, assess and report key risks across strategic initiatives and material business changes
- Work with risk and legal stakeholders to assess regulatory change impacts and ensure required changes are implemented and embedded on time
- Oversee risk events recorded by the business to ensure they are managed in line with policy, including containment, investigation, remediation, closure and reporting
- Support reviews of major incidents to identify control gaps and opportunities to strengthen controls
- Analyse and report on key risk exposures, providing clear insight to support timely discussion, escalation and action
- Contribute to the annual assurance plan, including control testing oversight activities
- Help build a culture that is risk aware, pragmatic and responsive
- Coordinate and support reviews performed by internal and external parties, including regulators where appropriate
Governance and committee responsibilities:
- Undertake secretariat responsibilities for the Executive Risk Committee.
- Ensure presenters understand requirements well in advance and that papers are submitted on time and to a high standard
- Support the preparation of Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee reporting and papers
- Work with senior risk stakeholders to coordinate Risk Council meetings and support effective agenda ownership and execution
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience in an operational risk and/or compliance role within a financial services environment
- Strong knowledge of risk and controls in financial services
- Knowledge of Australian Credit Licence, NCCP and AML/CTF requirements
- Strong experience in risk governance practices
- Experience in change management and/or project management
- Experience undertaking audits, compliance reviews, controls testing, internal audits or compliance assessments will be highly regarded
- Excellent business writing and report writing skills
- Strong commercial acumen and judgement
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver across multiple projects and initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate challenge, conflict and complex senior relationships in a collaborative way
