ESS manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities, or “villages” for remote workers, providing the essential comforts from a hot meal, a clean bed, freshly laundered workwear, to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home.

Are you looking for a new opportunity to enhance your skills and creativity as a cook? We are looking for FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) cooks to join our exceptional culinary teams in Western Australia. If you thrive under high-pressure environments and enjoy developing mouth-watering dishes, this is the role for you!

The Position

Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to high standards, considering dietary requirements and guest preferences.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours.
Adapt to different environments and kitchens while consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

The Person

Experience working in a high volume, fast paced, buffet-style kitchen.
FIFO or remote site kitchen experience desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques is essential
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Can demonstrate adaptability and resilience
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance
Flexibility to work on a FIFO roster
