Salary Range - $133,348 - $146,945 base plus super
Location - Parramatta office, with flexibility and hybrid working arrangements
About the role
Revenue Digital is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our existing DevOps team to work across a range of IT and digital projects.
As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will support development of product and platform services through collaborative build, release and maintenance, to deliver high quality resilient and reusable services that underpin Revenue NSW digital products.
Key responsibilities:

Work collaboratively within the Development Operations (DevOps) team and broader Revenue Digital and Department of Customer Service teams

Actively contribute to and guide innovation in DevOps practices
-
Support and mentor colleagues and the broader Revenue Digital team in DevOps culture
-
Contribute to automation initiatives, optimisations, and security hardening in an AWS environment to ensure optimal performance and scalable solutions

Contribute to the establishment of software standards and management of non-cloud native and cloud native services
-
Work within a large AWS enterprise environment

Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines
-
Support existing non-cloud native platforms and releases to controlled environments

Support batch processes, build and release tools, monitoring and alerting
To be successful in this role you require demonstrated experience in (most) of the following:

Cloud and non-cloud native environments including AWS
-
GitLab, Bamboo, Subversion
-
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
-
Automation through pipelines and scripting
-
Cloud networks and security (from a DevOps perspective)
-
Containerisation e.g., Docker, AWS ECS
-
Knowledge of development environments such as Python, PHP, Java
-
Batch scheduling via AutoSys
-
Knowledge of Unix and Windows
-
Logging and monitoring (AWS CloudWatch, Splunk), with alerting via PagerDuty

Database - SQL, Oracle, PostGres
-
Strong collaboration, communication and facilitation skills

Ability to write effective and clear documentation for inclusion in the DevOps knowledge base, as well as the ability to present to team members

Atlassian tool suite including Jira and Confluence
-
AWS Cloud Certification or willingness to attain is desirable
