Full Job Description

Location: Perth Metro

Employment Type: Casual (opportunity to transition to Perm Part-Time)

Classification: SCHADS Award – Home Care Employee Level 2

Above Award Pay & Benefits

$40.18 per hour + 12% super + weekend penalty rates. Full-time equivalent earnings exceed $83,500 per annum based on a 40-hour week (actual earnings depend on hours worked).

Employment is under the SCHADS Award (Home Care Stream) at the appropriate classification. Be U Pty Ltd pays above-award hourly rates based on the role and responsibilities.

Your Role

You will provide person-centred support tailored to each client’s individual goals and needs, which may include:

Personal care
Community access and social support
Domestic assistance
Meal preparation
Transport to appointments and activities
Shopping and errands
Medication prompting
Capacity building and independent living skills
Meaningful companionship while promoting independence
Accurate progress notes and documentation

About You

You are someone who:

Is passionate about supporting people with disability
Treats every client with dignity, respect and compassion
Is reliable, punctual and professional
Has excellent communication skills
Can work independently and use initiative
Is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support
Is flexible and available to work weekdays and/or weekends

Essential Requirements

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
National Police Clearance
Valid Driver’s Licence (Australian / International)
Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
Smartphone with internet access
Right to work in Australia

Desirable

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability, Ageing or Home & Community)
Previous disability support experience
Experience supporting people with neurological conditions, autism, psychosocial disability or mental health
Manual handling and medication competency
