Role details:
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our Coburg Food Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on Day shift, 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday with some overtime available.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

What you’ll do:

Involvement in upgrades to electrical systems and completing overhauls of equipment as required.
Perform routine electrical checks and attend breakdowns in a timely manner.
Diagnose and fix problems with components, PLCs, wiring and equipment throughout the plant.
Process improvement focus, with a view to reducing breakdowns and increasing reliability.
Proactive approach in reporting and identifying hazards.
Utilise IFS for maintenance scheduling, data collection and analysis.

What you’ll bring:

Electrical trade qualification with an A Grade electrical licence.
Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Skills in PLC and automation diagnostics, fault finding and control systems.
Working alongside production and engineering team to resolve issues.
IFS, MEX or SAP experience and proficiency are an advantage.
