As a Senior Manager within our Financial Performance Management team, you'll play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making across ANZ's Technology and Operations portfolios. Reporting to the Head of Group Costs, this role is responsible for leading performance management activities across Technology and Operations cost portfolios.
You'll oversee the delivery of high-quality financial analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting and decision support while partnering closely with stakeholders across Technology, Operations and Enterprise Finance. This is a highly visible role that requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management capability and the ability to influence strategic outcomes.

As a Senior Manager, you will:
Deliver timely, data-driven financial insights and decision support to senior stakeholders.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, outlook and target-setting processes.
Analyse business performance, identify key drivers and emerging trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
Partner with Technology and Operations leaders to improve financial performance and resource allocation decisions.
Develop executive-level reporting, commentary and business intelligence dashboards.
Support investment, funding and operating cost decisions through robust financial analysis.
Drive consistency, governance and control across performance management processes.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders including Finance, Technology and Operations leadership teams.
Partner with Talent & Culture to support workforce planning, FTE forecasting and reporting.
What will you bring?
Essential Experience
Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
Strong financial analysis capability with a track record of delivering meaningful business insights.
Experience supporting senior leaders, including CFO, Executive Committee or Head of Function-level stakeholders.
Ability to influence strategic decisions through financial modelling, scenario analysis and commercial recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations and reporting.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo.
Desirable Experience
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Experience with financial systems, management information systems (MIS), business intelligence and analytics tools.
Knowledge of banking, financial services or large-scale corporate environments.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of industry trends.
Qualifications
CPA, CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
