Great opportunity for a qualified Trade Assistant LV Distribution based in or willing to relocate to Townsville area that is looking to be part of Ventia’s growing national Energy and Renewables team. Join us in powering Australia’s future!

Benefits

Hourly wage of $58.23 plus super and penalties

Various additional allowances as per EA
Rostered day off

Normal roster is a 9-Day fortnight
10:4 Roster for work away from home projects

About the role

To proactively support & assistant in the safe and efficient delivery of power line works
Understand the tasks being carried and be proactive in aiding which efficiently helps the works
Perform duties as a safety observer when assigned the role as per policies & procedures
Ensure that vehicle, site & depot housekeeping is maintained at a high level
Ensure that tools & equipment are safely maintained and operated correctly
Assist with the restocking of vehicles.
Assist with cleaning of work equipment and vehicles
Undertake other duties as reasonably required and directed

About you

Ability to work away from home as required
Ability to participate in reasonable overtime in-line with business requirements
Working at Heights
HR Truck, C2 Crane, LF Forklift licenses(preferred)
