About the role
This dynamic and busy role will utilise your experience in Emergency Response & Training and mentoring and offer rewarding career opportunity. You will lead the site emergency response team by providing first response to all incidents and will be responsible for supporting the site training and HSE activities.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Generate and submit all monthly reports as required by AGLM

Ensure safe and confidential storage of documents

Maintain personnel numbers, qualifications, training and skills maintenance

Attend monthly KPI meeting (including completion & distribution of meeting minutes)

Conduct site familiarisation of new staff
-
Ensure ESO presence at site meetings as directed by the AGLM HSE team
-
ESO duties if required (as per the Scope of Works)

Essential Requirements
-
Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue OR Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations) or higher
-
Experience in Emergency Services, ERT, or Mine Rescue within mining or heavy industry

Previous supervisory or leadership experience in emergency response operations
-
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
-
Provide advanced first aid (HLTAID014)
-
Provide Advanced Resuscitation and oxygen therapy (HLTAID015)
-
Provide Pain Management (PUAEME005)
-
Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (HLTPAT005)
-
Confined Space Rescue and Working at Heights Rescue qualifications (completed within last 3yrs)
-
MR Licence or above
-
Strong knowledge of emergency response, rescue procedures, and incident management
-
Experience delivering training, drills, and emergency preparedness activities
-
Ability to pass pre-employment medical, Order 43 (or equivalent), drug & alcohol screening, and ongoing fitness for work requirements
