About the Role
As a Drill and Blast Operator, you'll be at the heart of Macmahon's mining operations, playing a vital role in preparing sites for excavation. Your responsibilities will consists of carrying out controlled blasting to break up rock for extraction.

- Roster: 2:1, day/night roster
- Rate: $58.12

Responsibilities
- Support Shotfirers to deliver the blasting schedule
- Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
- Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules
- Maintain a tidy work area and support safe interactions with all teams
- Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
- Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture
What You’ll Bring
- Confidence and experience in using the stemming loader
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
- First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience with electronic detonation systems
- Extensive knowledge in the use of explosive products
- Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
- A team mindset and reliable work ethic
- Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
