About the role

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager – Super to join our Product team in Sydney.

The Product team sits at the centre of Stake's growth. We bring together customer insight, commercial thinking and deep collaboration to shape the future of our investing platform. As we expand across products, markets and customer segments, we're building an ecosystem of services that helps ambitious Australians take greater control of their financial progress.

In this role, you'll lead one of the most important opportunities in front of us: reimagining how Australians manage their SMSF. You'll work closely with Stake's founder, the Product Owner of Super and the Head of Product to turn ambitious strategy into focused execution. You'll help define what great looks like for the category while building the systems, processes and team capability needed to deliver it.

This is a role for someone who enjoys operating at multiple altitudes. You'll shape long-term direction, drive high-quality decisions and help teams move quickly through complexity. Along the way, you'll raise the standard of product thinking across Stake and play a key role in shaping the future of our Super business. We work hybrid spending 3 days in our beautiful, dog-friendly Sydney office.

You've built a domain strategy that creates clear alignment between Stake's long-term ambition in Super and day-to-day execution
Teams across your domains operate with greater focus, clarity and confidence because priorities are understood and trade-offs are explicit
Product investments consistently deliver strong commercial outcomes and measurable customer value
Cross-functional planning has become more effective, reducing duplication, friction and competing priorities across teams
Product Managers you've coached have grown into stronger leaders who independently drive meaningful outcomes
Stake's product organisation is recognised internally for its quality of thinking, decision-making and execution
You've become a trusted partner to senior leaders and a key contributor to Stake's strategic direction

You've led complex product areas with meaningful commercial responsibility and enjoy balancing customer needs, business goals and execution realities
You're a systems thinker who can connect work across multiple teams and create clarity in fast-moving environments
You combine strong strategic judgement with a bias for action, helping teams make decisions and move forward with confidence
You care deeply about customer outcomes and use insight, data and first-principles thinking to shape priorities
You're an exceptional communicator who can simplify complexity and align stakeholders around difficult trade-offs
You enjoy developing people and have a track record of helping Product Managers raise their impact, ownership and effectiveness
