Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview is a Catholic boys’ school in the Jesuit tradition. Located on picturesque grounds in Lane Cove, this leading independent school delivers a holistic education for day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.

The Teachers’ Aide – Regis is responsible to the Director of Regis Campus. On a day to day basis the Teachers’ Aide will work under the direction of classroom teachers to support students with a range of learning difficulties in our Regis Campus.

The College seeks to employ a highly motivated, professional educator for the position of Teachers' Aide part-time (0.6 FTE), stand down (term time only) position for Semester 2 2026.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Providing assistance to individual students in school routines;
Assisting individual students to access and engage with classroom activities; and
Providing care and management of individual students who may be experiencing difficulties accessing the curriculum

ABOUT YOU

The successful applicant will:

have experience working as a Teachers' Aide in a secondary school environment
understand the requirements of working with students with additional needs
be able to provide support to professional colleagues
demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team
demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
demonstrate confidentiality, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families
display empathy and compassion to the needs and abilities of students
demonstrate flexibility and initiative
have strong administrative skills, IT proficiency and attention to detail
hold a current Working with Children Check
