Full Job Description

Located on Sydney’s North Shore, Hotel Urban St Leonards offers boutique-style hotel accommodation with modern amenities. The hotel is conveniently located, walking distance to public transport providing easy access to Sydney city centre.

We are seeking a warm and welcoming personality, a passion for customer service and the ability to create surprising and memorable experiences. The position will require the successful applicant to work full-time hours on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday (7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm).

The duties and responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, this role is a full-time Duty position that will require you to be involved in:

Overseeing daily shift operations and inter-department communications (Night Audit, House-Keeping & Food and Beverage)
Greeting guests on arrival.
Administering check-in and check-outs
Managing complaints and assist with all guest inquiries
Processing guest payments and maintain guest Accounts
Answering phone calls and replying to all email inquires
Taking and entering reservations

The successful applicant:

Experience as a Guest Service Agent is required.
Experience in managing complaints
High attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
A very strong focus on customer service, good use of initiative, excellent communication skills and a high level of personal grooming and presentation.
Availability on weekends is a must.
Available to work on a rotating roster 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm
