Home Care Worker - Qualified

Churches of Christ Home Care Bribie Island & Caboolture

Permanent Part Time or Casual Opportunity

About the role

At Home Care Bribie Island & Caboolture, we are currently seeking a Qualified and Experienced Home Care Workers. The Home Care Worker is responsible for providing home care clients with assistance, support and encouragement of independence to reside in their chosen community. Areas that you will be covering, depending on your base location, could include Beachmere to Bongaree, Caboolture to Elimbah, and Morayfield to Godwin Beach.

As a Qualified Home Care Worker, you could:

Provide general domestic assistance; assist in the preparation and cooking of in-home meals; ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
Assist clients with medication
Provide social support to clients by providing transport, assisting with social outings, shopping etc.
Providing personal care assistance to clients for example showering, dressing and toileting

What we're looking for

This role is perfect for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a difference - Providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with and reporting to our very supportive Senior Home Care Workers as needed.

Certificate 3 in Ageing or Individual support with Medication competent or willing to obtain (for qualified Home Care Workers)
A current driver's license

A National Police Check.
First Aid & CPR
A comprehensively insured vehicle that is suitable ad available to be used for work purposes
