Who is Nut Producers Australia?

Nut Producers Australia (NPA) is an almond and pistachio processing and marketing business with a charter to maximise returns to growers and has an annual turnover more than $100 million. The business is a collective of three companies: NPA, the Marketing and Administration company based in Adelaide, Riverland Almonds in Loxton and Australian Pioneer Pistachio Company, based in Robinvale, Vic. As a separate and complementary channel, NPA also carries on the business of product trading to add to the growth of the business.

About the company

Nut Producers Australia is an almond and pistachio sales and marketing business with a charter to maximise returns to growers. The finance team provides services to four companies; NPA, the marketing and administration company based in Adelaide; Riverland Almonds, the almond processing company based in Loxton; Riverland Almonds Hulling, the almond hulling company based in Lindsay Point; and, Australian Pioneer Pistachio Co, the pistachio processing company based in Robinvale. NPA also carries on the business of product trading to add to the growth of the business.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-quality support to our CEO and Board, while also providing broader coordination and business support across NPA

While executive and Board support are at the core of the role, this is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be involved more broadly in the business. You will work closely with the Management Team and across NPA, providing practical coordination and administrative support as priorities and needs arise.

The role has scope to evolve over time as you build your understanding of the business and identify where your skills and support can add value.

We are also open to discussing flexible/part time working hours for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality executive support to the CEO, including coordination of meetings, diary, travel and priorities.
Coordinate Board and Committee activities, including meetings, papers and associated administration.
Provide coordination and administrative support to the Management Team and broader business.
Support business meetings, activities and initiatives as required.
Assist with business correspondence, presentations and other documentation.
Support the smooth day-to-day coordination of the office and workplace.
Contribute to improving administrative processes and ways of working.

About You

Previous experience providing executive support to a CEO or senior leader
Experience supporting Board and governance activities would be highly regarded
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking initiative
Professional and discreet, with sound judgement and a high level of confidentiality
Collaborative, adaptable and willing to support across the business as priorities evolve
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365
