Marketing Operations & CRM Specialist
Turn customer data into smarter marketing, better experiences and stronger connections.
Freedom Fuels is growing, evolving and investing in how we understand and connect with our customers. We’re looking for a Marketing Operations & CRM Specialist to help turn customer data, technology and insights into marketing that delivers.
This is a role that requires someone who isn’t afraid to pick up a rock and make friends with the spider underneath. You’ll work at the intersection of CRM, process, marketing technology, customer data, automation and insights. You’ll be a key part of Freedom’s growth strategy and work closely with Marketing, Retail, Wholesale, Technology and external partners to create industry leading customer experiences and make our marketing activity smarter, more measurable and more effective.
What you’ll do

Act as the marketing business owner for CRM and marketing technology across retail, loyalty, app, wholesale and lead generation.
Translate sales, customer and marketing needs into practical CRM, automation, app and system requirements.
Develop customer segmentation and data processes to support campaigns, loyalty and customer lifecycle activity.
Design and coordinate automated customer journeys across onboarding, engagement, retention, reactivation and lead nurture.
Coordinate campaign activity across email, SMS, app and other digital channels.
Build reporting, dashboards and measurement frameworks that turn campaign and customer data into actionable insights.
Support customer and market research and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Partner with IT, developers, data partners and agencies to improve systems, processes and the best customer experiences.
Champion data quality, campaign governance, privacy, consent and responsible use of customer information.
Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, system adoption and customer journey performance.

About you
You’re commercially minded, analytical and curious about what makes customers tick. You enjoy getting into the detail of systems and data, but you can also step back and explain what it all means to the wider business.

You’ll bring:

Experience in B2B and B2C CRM, marketing operations, marketing automation, digital marketing, customer insights, data-driven marketing or a related field.
Experience with customer segmentation, campaign deployment, reporting, dashboards or marketing performance analysis.
The ability to translate business requirements into practical systems, processes and campaign solutions.
Strong attention to detail and a genuine focus on data quality and accuracy.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work across Marketing, Technology, Sales and Operations.
Strong Excel and reporting/dashboarding capability.
Experience with loyalty, retail, B2B, lead generation or lifecycle marketing will be highly regarded.
Experience in fuel, retail, logistics, energy, infrastructure or another operational environment will be a bonus.
