The role:
Crown Sydney is looking for an Operations Shift Supervisor to join the Property Services team in Barangaroo. This role will see you leading and supporting the in-house maintenance operations team across the overnight shift to ensure that all plant, equipment and essential building services operate effectively, efficiently and deliver business continuity, 24/7.
As a key operational leader, you'll drive team collaboration, quality workmanship and overall operational excellence on shift, whilst ensuring internal and external customers are satisfied and experience positive interactions with Property Services. You’ll play an important role in managing emergency events that may present safety risks to guests and staff, as well as mitigating property and asset damage.
This role is a 12-month maximum term contract and is rostered for permanent 12-hour overnight shifts (7pm to 7am). To be considered, you'll need to have flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster which includes weekends and public holidays.
You'll be:
Leading a small team to deliver business continuity and maintenance excellence, whilst ensuring a high-level of customer service
Responding to and delegating work orders, including accurate data is entered into Maximo
Supporting the shift teams looking after Gaming, Food & Beverage (F&B), Hotel and Wardrobe maintenance services
Coordinating responses and providing technical and procedural direction across teams
Coordinating, implementation, and monitoring of Crown’s safety systems for high-risk work
Issuing permits, conducting audits and inspections
Reporting on non-compliance and monitoring preventive and corrective actions
You’ll bring:
Experienced and skills in essential services
Proven leadership skills within a similar building maintenance or property services role
Ability to work permanent overnights across a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
Trade and/or relevant tertiary qualifications (Electrical or Plumbing preferred)
Ability to obtain a NSW Casino Special Employee Licence (Police Check and Credit Check required)
