Placement Locations: Various – we accept applications from all locations, but final allocation is dependant on the availability of the business at the time of your application. Predominantly our placements are located in SA, VIC and WA.

Placement Description:
Vocational Placements at BAE Systems Australia are unpaid work experience opportunities for university students, linked to their academic studies and degree programs. These placements are designed to support student development by providing professional experience and insight into the workplace. Through these opportunities, students can apply their university knowledge and develop the skills needed to successfully transition from study to work, while also enabling industry to contribute to the development of work-ready graduates. Where possible, vocational placements should be linked to a defence industry scholarship program, such as the Defence Industry Connect Program. The placement opportunities are limited for the summer opening in August for a December/January start.
