Job Description

Responsibilities

We work with various developers across the country who build properties to our specs so that we can take out long-term leases to run our operations. Our great partnerships with developers are off the back of our long-standing relationships and the excellent reputation we’ve built for ourselves. In addition to these greenfield sites, on occasion we also refurbish and/or rebrand other hotels within the market to grow our portfolio.

As Project Manager you’ll bring strong experience working in project management within the construction industry, attention to detail and a forward-thinking mindset. You’ll be able to perfectly balance relationships with outcomes and be able to represent the tenant (us) within the entire development to delivery process.

You’ll be responsible for:

Pipeline management and communication to stakeholders
Assisting with new opportunity proposals and negotiations
Mark-up of plans with tenant-side comments
Management of the tenant-side development process to delivery
Management of FF&E design, procurement, delivery & installation
Updating of developer brief documents
Oversite and management of internal refurbishment projects

About You

We work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, so we’re looking for people who are adaptable, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset.

The successful person must have:

Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
Proven experience in a construction project management role.
Experience in Tenant Fitout Favourable.
Hotel or Residential Project Management experience required.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with pride taken in quality outcomes.
Proven ability to manage timelines and multiple projects concurrently in fast-paced environments.
Ability to understand and translate operational requirements at the development stage.
Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly to development sites, both locally and interstate.
