As we continue to invest in our digital experience, we're looking for a Senior Product Engineer (React Native) to take ownership of and help shape our native iOS and Android applications.
This isn't just a role for someone who loves writing great code. We're looking for an engineer who is deeply curious about how customers experience a product someone who can connect technology, UX and product thinking to build experiences that are intuitive, seamless and genuinely valuable.

About the Role
As our Senior Product Engineer (React Native), you'll take a leading role in the evolution of Adore Beauty's mobile experience.
You'll combine deep hands-on engineering expertise with strong product and customer thinking. While you'll be responsible for the architecture, performance, quality and delivery of our mobile applications, you'll also be expected to actively contribute to the why behind what we're building.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant ownership. You'll lead development across React Native and native mobile technologies while taking a holistic view of the customer experience, product journey and technical landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll take ownership across the mobile product and platform, including:
- Building and evolving high-quality mobile experiences across iOS and Android.
- Leading the technical direction and architecture of our React Native applications.
- Partnering closely with Product and Design to understand customer problems and shape effective solutions.
- Bringing an engineering perspective into product discovery, roadmap discussions and solution design.
- Thinking critically about user journeys, usability and friction — not just technical implementation.
- Translating product and UX requirements into intuitive, scalable and high-performing customer experiences.
- Developing and maintaining features across React Native and native mobile technologies.
- Managing native integrations and maintaining Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin and Java modules.
- Owning features end-to-end, from technical discovery and implementation through to release, measurement and iteration.
- Using customer insights, product data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the mobile experience.
- Contributing to sprint planning, technical estimation and product roadmap discussions.
- Owning our mobile release process, including App Store and Google Play deployments.
- Monitoring application health, resolving production issues and continuously improving performance.
- Maintaining CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks and engineering best practices.
- Driving code quality through reviews, documentation and continuous improvement.
- Championing accessibility, usability, performance and engineering excellence across the mobile experience.
- Helping raise the bar for product thinking and customer-centric engineering across the broader team.
About You
You're an experienced mobile engineer who is as interested in why we're building something as how we're building it.
You have strong technical depth, but you also understand that great engineering is ultimately about creating better outcomes for customers and the business.
You'll bring:
- Commercial experience building and shipping high-quality React Native applications across both iOS and Android.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern React Native development.
- Solid native mobile development experience across Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin and Java.
- A strong understanding of product development and the ability to partner effectively with Product and Design.
- Experience contributing to product discovery, solution design and technical decision-making.
- A genuine curiosity about customer behaviour, user journeys and how people interact with digital products.
- The confidence to challenge assumptions and contribute ideas that improve the customer experience.
- Strong UX and usability awareness, with an understanding of how technical decisions can impact the end user.
- Experience managing mobile CI/CD pipelines, code signing and App Store releases.
- Strong knowledge of testing, debugging, crash monitoring and production support.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for mentoring, technical leadership and building better products.
