The role:
Based at ARB's global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne, the Financial Controller International is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting operations of ARB's international businesses. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a critical role in financial governance, reporting, compliance and commercial decision-making across the Group's global operations.
You will lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, management reporting and tax compliance activities, while overseeing key financial functions including debtors, fixed assets, costing, insurance and intercompany reporting. You will also partner with business leaders across multiple regions, support Board reporting, drive process improvements and contribute to strategic finance initiatives that support ARB's continued international growth.
As a senior finance leader, you will contribute to financial strategy, business risk identification, continuous process improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of financial systems and reporting capabilities across the Group's international operations.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Experience within a large Chartered Accounting firm highly regarded.
- 5+ years' experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and compliance knowledge.
- Experience leading teams and developing finance capability.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders and provide meaningful business insights.
- International, manufacturing or automotive industry experience advantageous.
