We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Leading Hand and Forklift Operator to join our team.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Leading Hand and Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Warehouse Leading Hand, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate tasks, and provide guidance to the warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to handle, store, and transport goods within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Provide leadership and guidance to the warehouse team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance of forklifts.
Assist in inventory management, including stocktaking and cycle counting.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of order picking and packing.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Valid forklift license and proven experience as a forklift operator.
Previous experience in a warehouse leading hand role or similar supervisory position.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfilment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks.
Commitment to safety and adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
