About Optweb Digital

Optweb Digital is a fast-growing Australian digital marketing firm and a Global Search Awards 2026 Finalist, helping businesses grow through SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, websites, and digital strategy. We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Officer to support our growing team.

About the Role

The Accounting Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll assistance, reconciliations, invoicing, financial administration, and supporting management with general accounting tasks.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer invoices and supplier bills.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and customer payments.
Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards.
Assist with payroll processing and related administration.
Prepare BAS information and financial reports for the external accountant.
Maintain accurate financial records in Xero.
Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
Manage company emails and general correspondence.
Support HR with employee onboarding and documentation.
Maintain employee records, leave registers, and company documentation.
Coordinate meetings, office supplies, and supplier relationships.
Assist directors with general administrative tasks.
Ensure company compliance records and documentation remain up to date.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administration.
Experience using Xero (preferred).
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
