The Famished Wolf Mt Eliza isn't just another burger shop—we are a local institution and a high-energy neighbourhood favourite. We are famous for serving up the absolute best flavor-packed gourmet burgers, loaded sides, and shakes. We pride ourselves on our premium quality food. We operate a clean, modern, and highly efficient small-shop setup where every team member is valued, respected, and given the space to take pride in their work.
We are looking for a trustworthy, mature-minded Cook & Shop All-Rounder who thrives on autonomy. Because we are a boutique, streamlined operation, you won't have a micromanager looking over your shoulder. We need a professional who is completely comfortable taking the reins, running the floor solo, and treating the shop like their own business. If you love a fast-paced environment where you can work independently, keep things organized, and chat with great local customers, this is your ideal home. As our solo champion on shift, you will manage the rhythm of the shop from start to finish:
- The Prep & Close: Arriving 30 minutes before opening to prep fresh ingredients and fire up the grill, and wrapping up 30 minutes after close to lock up safely.
- The Grill: Owning the line, cooking our signature burgers to perfection, and managing ticket times during the dinner rush.
- The Floor: Greeting our loyal locals, taking orders at the counter, and keeping the workspace clean, hygienic, and spotless.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position offering fantastic work-life balance and highly predictable, secure hours.
- Stable Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Night Shifts: 5 to 6 nights per week (starting at 4:30 PM and wrapping up early between 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
- Day Shifts: Weekend lunch shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (starting at 11:30 AM).

Skills & Attributes Required
- Grill Experience: Strong cooking skills (burger bar or fast-casual experience is highly regarded).
- Independence: A proven track record of running kitchen shifts or small hospitality venues completely unsupervised.
- All-Rounder Attitude: Someone who takes equal pride in a perfectly cooked burger, a spotless kitchen, and an excellent customer interaction.
- Reliability: Absolute punctuality, honesty, and a desire for a long-term, stable home.
