A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an Associate DevOps Engineer to join the Seven West Media Software Engineering team. Working with cutting-edge technologies, including AWS, you'll develop your cloud engineering and infrastructure as code skills while collaborating with a team of innovators, creatives, and problem solvers helping shape the future of Australian digital media.
Whether you're a recent graduate or have some existing cloud experience, this role offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies and expand your capabilities across cloud, data, automation, and cyber security. You'll contribute to some of Western Australia's most recognised digital platforms, gaining hands-on experience while building solutions that reach millions of Australians every day.
About the role:
Developing cloud based platforms for a number of solutions, including The West, The Nightly, PerthNow, 7NEWS, The Game, Community News plus 18 regional sites.
About you:
Experience with, source control, automated testing, build and CI/CD tools including Pulumi, Terraform, CDK or similar, and GitHub would also be advantageous .
Experience with Typescript or JavaScript and experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash and PowerShell.
Understanding of container technologies including Docker, & ECS.
