About the opportunity
As an Occupational Therapist you will be working in the community supporting people living with a disability or who are a ageing. We regionalise your calendar so you work close to home while being supported by highly experienced therapists who work in your area of clinical interest.
In working in a highly specialised team of therapists within a multidisciplinary environment, you will be supported to work either as a specialist or generalist to grow and develop your clinical skills
At KEO we support you to tailor your caseload in the following specialist areas
- Mental Health / Psychosocial Disability
- Paediatrics or Adults
- ASD and ID
- Assistive Technology and/or Home Modifications
- Disability Housing
With more control over your calendar you will be able to work from home, in the community or from one of our vibrant hubs which are always full of clinicians collaborating, learning, and connecting while working towards common goals.
Your role as an Occupational Therapist at KEO will include:
- Providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services, to help clients optimise their independence and quality of life
- Assessing community-based participants with a diverse range of disabilities relating to physical, cognitive, or sensory impairments
- Deliver therapy and manage your own caseload of participants whilst being supported by an exceptional Clinical Excellence team
- Complete comprehensive assessments and produce quality reports for submission to funding bodies like NDIS
- Participant in regular and structured 1:1 clinical supervision
- Attend Internal and External Professional Development so you’re always learning
- Attend weekly team huddles, discipline specific and multidisciplinary case conferences.
- Access to a team of multidisciplinary therapists, drawing on additional skills and knowledge
- Mentor graduates and early career clinicians by sharing your knowledge.
- Celebrate wins with your participants, families, and your colleagues and leadership team
- Attend opportunities for networking, learning and development

Skills and Experience required:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent/higher)
- 1-2+ Years Experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Registered with AHPRA
- Police Check
- Driver’s License and Car
- Victorian working with Children’s Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
