Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Construction Estimator – Screw Piling to join our growing team at IdealCorp. This is a sales support-focused estimating role positioned at the centre of our customer journey.

You will act as the key link between our clients and internal teams — transforming site plans and enquiries into accurate, competitive quotes that win projects. If you thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, enjoy working with numbers, and take pride in precision, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing accurate and timely quotes for residential and commercial screw piling projects
Reviewing architectural drawings, site plans, and engineering specifications to assess project requirements
Responding to inbound enquiries via phone, email, and online channels
Liaising with builders, contractors, owner-builders, and certifiers to clarify scope and site conditions
Maintaining accurate records in CRM (quotes, pipeline, communications, project status)
Coordinating with operations and installation teams to ensure feasibility of quoted work
Identifying upsell opportunities and supporting lead conversion
Assisting the National Sales Manager with reporting, pipeline tracking, and market insights

What We’re Looking For

Essential

Experience in estimating, sales support, or customer-facing roles within the construction industry
Ability to read and interpret residential construction drawings and site plans
Strong attention to detail with high numerical accuracy
Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Pipedrive preferred)
Proactive mindset with the ability to manage a high-volume quote pipeline

Desirable

Experience in screw piling, civil construction, or residential foundations
Knowledge of Australian building standards and construction processes
