Senior Engineer – Bridges and Civil Structures

What you’ll do

As a Senior Engineer in our Bridges and Civil Structures team based in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

Engineering design and assessment of bridges and civil structures
Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery
Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions
Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions
Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance

What you’ll bring

Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in bridge design and assessment. CPEng and RPEQ is a pre-requisite for this role
Advanced skills in structural bridge engineering including the use of structural engineering software packages Midas Civil, Space Gass and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design
A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
The ability and willingness to guide and upskill junior engineers
