At Redefine Fitness, we believe strength changes lives.

We're not a big-box gym focused on numbers. We're a women's health and fitness community in the heart of Blackwood, dedicated to helping women become stronger, healthier and more confident at every stage of life.

Many of our members are women aged 40-80 who come to us not just for exercise, but for support, connection, accountability and guidance. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated coach who shares our passion for helping women create sustainable, long-term change.

About Redefine Fitness

Redefine Fitness has been part of the Blackwood community for more than 20 years.

Originally established as Healthy Inspirations Blackwood, the business has evolved over time while maintaining the strong sense of community that has always made it special.

When we took ownership nearly three years ago, our vision wasn't to change what people loved. It was to protect that community while helping women build strong, capable bodies through strength training, education and sustainable lifestyle habits.

Today, Redefine Fitness is a space where members are known by name, supported through every season of life and empowered to redefine what's possible at every age.

About the Role

This is a hands-on coaching role where you'll be an important part of the day-to-day operation of the gym.

Your responsibilities will include:

Semi-Private Personal Training Sessions
One-on-One Personal Training
Small Group Fitness Classes
Nutrition Coaching and Accountability Support
Conducting member consultations and check-ins
Gym tours and prospective member appointments
Building strong relationships with members
Providing exceptional customer service
Opening and closing procedures
General cleaning and presentation of the facility
Supporting members to achieve sustainable health and fitness outcomes

More importantly, you'll be helping create an environment where women feel welcome, safe, supported and capable.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Certificate III & IV in Fitness

Current First Aid and CPR

Strong coaching and communication skills

Ability to work independently

Professional and reliable

Positive and approachable personality

Passion for helping everyday women improve their health and wellbeing

Highly Regarded

Experience coaching women over 35

Nutrition coaching knowledge and experience

Experience with semi-private personal training

Sales or consultation experience

Local knowledge of the Blackwood community

Available Hours

6-9 hours per week initially with more hours available for the right person

Monday: 3:30pm - 6:30pm

Wednesday: 6:00am - 12:00pm

Additional hours and responsibilities may become available as our community continues to grow.
