Salary - $77,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation per annum

THE ROLE:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Systems Analyst to work closely with clients, business stakeholders and technical teams to identify business requirements and deliver effective technology solutions. You will play a key role in analysing business processes, preparing system specifications and supporting the successful implementation of IT projects that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Identify, investigate and analyse business processes, procedures and work practices to determine business and system requirements.
· Work with users and key stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
· Conduct interviews, workshops and business process analysis to develop high-level user requirements and solution recommendations.
· Use data modelling and business process modelling techniques to prepare detailed system specifications for software design and development.
· Develop business cases and recommend complete IT solutions based on workflow analysis and organisational requirements.
· Prepare comprehensive functional specifications, technical documentation and process maps in consultation with technical specialists.
· Interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, system requirements and implementation procedures.
· Coordinate with software developers and technical support teams to investigate system issues, identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
· Assist with project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and project delivery using recognised project management methodologies and principles.
· Montior project progress, manage assigned tasks and ensure wok is completed within agreed deadlines and quality standards.
· Build strong working relationships with clients and business stakeholders, providing clear communication and effective consultation throughout project delivery.
· Utilise Microsoft Office applications and other business communication platforms to prepare reports, presentations and project documentation.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
· Relevant qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related discipline (or agreed equivalent).
· Minimum of three years (preferably more) relevant experience as a Systems Analyst or in a closely related ICT business analysis role.
· Demonstrated experience analysing business processes and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
· Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, process mapping and systems documentation.
· Experience working with project management methodologies and participating in technology implementation projects.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
· Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and consultation skills.
· High level of attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business communication platforms.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
· You must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
