About the role:

GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Trade Assistant in Hazelmere. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company in the transport and manufacturing space. The role involves fitting mechanical parts to various types of mining equipment. We also have general yard duties, such forklift duties, general maintenance and working with the other tradesmen.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

A trade assistant background with a desire to work long-term locally
A mechanical mindset or previous mechanical experience is preferred for this role.
A positive, energetic attitude to work within a great company culture
A hands-on and proactive approach is preferred
Previous forklift experience is preferred
Living local to Hazelmere
Experience with working alongside tradesmen such as, Blasters, Painters and Mechanics

To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:

Forklift Licence
Reference contact details of two past employers
Based already in Perth, WA
Have the right to work in Australia
