About the Role

Our General Store at Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated retail attendant to join our team on a two-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extending in the Retail or Food & Beverage department. Providing outstanding shopping experience to guests and island travellers. The role boasts a variety of aspects that will see you deliver great retail operations, manage point-of sale, arranging store merchandising and serving up coffee along with fuel for traveller's setting off on adventures across the island's sandtracks.

You must be motivated to maintain high retail standards, keep a neat and tidy store and be passionate about creating a positive team environment.

Reporting to the Retail Manager this is a permanent part-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate is available for an immediate start and must be able to relocate to the island for this "live-on" position.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Committed to providing brilliant customer experiences
Demonstrates a "team player" attitude
Prior experience working in a retail store
Prior experience as a barista
Knowledge of cash handling, open/closing
Merchandising skills - desirable
A valid Food Handling Certificate (or the ability to obtain)
A valid Queensland RSA (or the ability to obtain)
