Your Impact
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work across our stack and keep the infrastructure that supports our engineering team, our product, and modern finance teams running smoothly.
This is a hands-on technical role. You’ll shape technical direction, influence architectural decisions, own the DevOps roadmap, and take responsibility for technical compliance against ISO27001 and SOC2. You’ll lead and develop one direct report from the outset, providing an opportunity to strengthen your people leadership experience while remaining hands-on. You’ll report to the Head of Engineering.
Focus Areas
Deliver high-quality, scalable solutions across our infrastructure and stack.
Maintain and evolve infrastructure that supports our engineering team and agentic development workflows.
Own the DevOps roadmap and technical compliance for ISO27001/SOC2.
Shape technical direction and influence architectural decisions across engineering.
Stay close to production: monitor systems and proactively address reliability or performance concerns.
Support continuous learning by sharing knowledge and mentoring others informally.
Help drive a culture of experimentation, accountability, and simplicity in engineering.
Support your team of one
Skills
Strong AWS experience (CloudWatch, RDS, ECS, EC2, Fargate, Elasticache, S3, API Gateway).
Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience, preferably Terraform.
AI-native, comfortable running multiple agents day-to-day, setting up automatic/overnight agents, and acting as a leader and influencer on AI-assisted engineering within the team.
Strong sense of ownership and technical direction.
Solid understanding of CI patterns and containerisation.
Bonus Points
Product and customer oriented, not just infrastructure oriented.
Fintech-minded: experience in fintech, payments, or compliance-heavy environments is a plus.
An eye for technical detail paired with a bias for action.
Experience with Python, Django, React, or React Native.
