At the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC), we are modernising how we regulate the gambling sector. We take a risk-based approach to decision making and focus on building deep understanding of the key risks that impact community safety and the integrity and fairness of the gambling industry.

This position sits within a team providing legal services and policy advice on all gambling related matters to the VGCCC and the Commission.

Our Opportunity

The Executive Divisional Coordinator plays a pivotal role supporting the General Counsel. This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised professional to work at the centre of a dynamic regulatory environment, providing executive, legal and business support across a broad range of matters. Working closely with senior leaders, you will coordinate critical activities, manage confidential information, contribute to legal and policy initiatives, and help drive operational excellence across the division.

To be successful in this position you will have:

Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative and legal support to senior executives within a legal, regulatory, government or professional services environment.
Ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple requests, prepare high-quality documentation and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Proven capability to build effective working relationships, communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders, and handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
Ability to work independently, anticipate issues, exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information, and thrive in a complex and evolving regulatory setting.
