Your Opportunity

We're looking for an organised and customer-focused Industry Partnership Officer (AO3) to provide administrative and operational support within Educational Delivery Support at TAFE Queensland SkillsTech at our Acacia Ridge campus.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity for 12 months, providing support while a team member is on parental leave starting 31 August 2026.

This role supports the commercial contracts delivery of training by providing attendance and grading records, as well as supporting our business financial sustainability by focusing on strategies that target outstanding employer verifications for apprenticeship and traineeship programs.

You'll work closely with internal teams, external clients, and other stakeholders to make sure information is accurate, deadlines are met and issues are followed up in a timely way.

This is a busy administrative role suited to someone who enjoys working with systems, solving problems, supporting others and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll be doing

* Provide administrative support for training delivery, contract arrangements and industry partnerships

* Act as an initial point of contact for enquiries from clients, employers, and internal teams

* Maintaining accurate student records (hard and soft) for attendance and grading that meet compliance (Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and Skills Assure Supplier (SAS)).

* Assist with day-to-day administration, including team inboxes, phone enquiries, front counter support and general records management

* Help monitor contract and program progress, including identifying issues, following up missing information and escalating matters when needed

* Prepare reports, correspondence and information for internal and external stakeholders as required

* Use student management systems and other software to enter, check, extract and maintain accurate information

* Contribute to process improvements that make work easier, more consistent and more efficient

How you will be assessed

The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

Ability to complete accurate administrative work, maintain records and follow required processes.

2. Systems and data

Ability to use computer systems to enter, check, extract and manage information accurately.

3. Communication and customer service

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with students, employers, clients, internal teams and external partners.

4. Organisation and problem solving

Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, identify issues and take practical steps to resolve or escalate matters.

5. Teamwork and continuous improvement

Ability to work well in a team, support others and contribute to improving work practices and processes.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements:

* Nil

Highly desirable:

* Experience in administration, student support, training administration, contract administration or a busy customer service environment.

* Experience using student management systems or other databases would be highly regarded.

* A current driver's licence is highly regarded, as the role may involve travel across multiple campuses.
