Full Job Description

Barminco is looking for Auto Electricians to join the team at the Bellevue Gold Mine on a full-time basis on a 7/7 or 14/14 roster.

Your role is integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations.

You'll support the production team within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems on underground mobile equipment

Fault-find and repair wiring, starting and charging systems, batteries, and control circuits

Install and maintain safety systems, lighting, communications, and machine telematics

Conduct inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment availability

Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs in confined and challenging underground environments

Complete maintenance documentation and follow all site safety and compliance requirements

Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes

Previous experience working as an Auto Electrician in underground mining

Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards

Experience operating within production-focused underground environments

Ability to work effectively within a team and follow mine plans and procedures

Current and valid Australian driver’s licence

Relevant tickets, licences and qualifications for the role

Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace
