Our Opportunity

Work Location: Eliwana

Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.

Roster: 7D/7N/14R – FIFO ex Perth

Our team at Eliwana are seeking an experienced Electrician to work with a great team that work within the Ore Processing facility.

Key Responsibilities

Scoping continuous improvement opportunities
Raising notifications and work orders
Breakdown and fault finding on Ore processing plant
Preventative maintenance on Ore processing plant
Modular and shutdown maintenance
Statutory testing and inspections

Qualifications and Experience

Electrical trade qualification
Current WA 'A' class electrical workers licence
High voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching
Previous experience as electrical tradesperson or Electrical / Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating plant environment (2 years preferred maintenance, as it is for an experienced position)
Experience in PLC systems and control communication systems
Basic instrumentation experience
Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
Experience in computer-based maintenance systems - SAP (desirable)
