If you are flexible, innovative and passionate about developing staff, students and services to promote the best outcomes for consumers this is the position for you. This temporary full-time position will be based at Port Kembla Hospital during an exciting time for the district, with the transition to the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services.

The position includes Team Lead responsibilities with the opportunity to contribute to the supervision, operational management and development of non-admitted programs in the Illawarra. The role also provides two days of Clinical Education to staff and students across Aged Care, Rehabilitation and musculoskeletal streams. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in one of these streams and carry a clinical caseload. Job share of the Team Lead and Clinical Educator components will be considered.

A little about us.

As a part of the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, a new Community Health Centre is being built on the old Port Kembla Hospital site. The Warrawong Community Health Centre will bring together a range of services including community mental health, drug and alcohol, community nursing, and child and family services.

Until the new Community Centre is complete, some allied health services will continue to operate out of the Port Kembla Hospital site.

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Current AHPRA Registration

Extensive post graduate clinical experience in the specialty area including the management of complex patients and the provision of consultation across hospitals/sites/streams

Valid NSW Drivers Licence

This is a temporary leave relief position until 22 August 2027 with the possibility of extension. Job share will be considered for this role.
