Our hospital has an exceptional opportunity for a small animal veterinarian to join our popular team due to local growth and demand. We welcome applications from Experienced Vets or Graduates.

Here’s a glimpse of your new lifestyle … we are situated in the beautiful township of Grafton in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. There is a strong community feel to the town with regular markets, theatre shows, and music events. We have excellent sporting facilities and many special interest social clubs. Each year, the town hosts the Jacaranda festival and closes for horse racing public holidays. Explore our spectacular national parks that border the town where you’ll find waterfalls, bush walking trails and mountain bike tracks. If you enjoy the ocean, we’re only an hour drive to many Northern NSW beachside towns.

The town offers affordable housing with large backyards, childcare, local primary and secondary schools, great coffee and pub meals with beautiful sunsets over the iconic Clarence River. Bring yourself or bring the whole family.

A little bit about us:

We pride ourselves on our high standards of care and local reputation.
We’re a large modern hospital with main street frontage and private rear parking.
We have three consulting rooms, spacious treatment room including wet prep area, two theatres, separate dog and cat wards plus isolation wards.
We have excellent workflow and all the equipment and tools you need, including in-house haematology and biochemistry, IM3 dental equipment with dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, tonometry and more.
We’re a fun, friendly, supportive bunch of three vets, five experienced nurses and our client coordinator superstar.
We have a varied and interesting caseload including dogs, cats, rabbits, small mammals, birds, reptiles, wildlife, and the occasional fish.
We take a team-based approach to medicine and surgery and there is plenty of scope to bring your interests or ideas.
We have a large comfy staff lounge with television and fully equipped kitchen.
Our roster is 8-6pm weekdays with rotational weekends to support our community.
We encourage your interests and areas of expertise, have in-clinic VIN access, offer generous CPD allowance and study leave as well as online learning and free access to our Veterinary Training Centre in either Sydney or Gold Coast.
We’re connected as a team and enjoy time together inside and outside of work.
