About the role:
The Renal Research Unit at Sunshine Hospital is rapidly expanding clinical trial activity. We are seeking a Renal Trial Coordinator (RTC) to join the team. The RTC will be responsible for efficiently coordinating delegated clinical research activities and workload within the Nephrology unit with the assistance of senior staff.
Key responsibilities:
The RTC will ensure a high-quality service is delivered that meets the needs of clients and patients, and will ensure all studies are conducted in an ethical, scientific and legal manner and foster an environment that encourages and supports clinical research.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will:

Employ an innovative and flexible approach to research coordination.

Assist in ensuring successful study start up processes, successful participant recruitment and successful study completion.

Ensure that human ethics and governance submissions, annual reports, and amendments are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.

Facilitate appropriate communications with other study coordinators and consultants and other key staff required to support renal trials activities.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
