Full Job Description

We want you:

Haynes is currently seeking Machine Operator's to join our client's team on a wind farm project based near Gladstone, SA. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the renewable energy sector and contribute to a large-scale solar installation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate assigned plant (Roller, Watercart and Excavator) safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements.
Conduct pre-start checks and daily maintenance of plant and equipment.
Perform earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and compaction activities to specification.
Load, haul, and place materials using appropriate techniques.
Work under the direction of supervisors to meet production targets and project timelines.
Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and environmental awareness sessions.
Report mechanical issues, hazards, or incidents promptly.
Ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy at the end of shift.

Whats on offer:

Roster: 10 days on / 4 days off - roster starts on a Tuesday
Hours: 10 hour days
PayRate: $50 upwards (dependent on expeience and tickets)
Type: Casual
Start: 21-07-2026
$150 per day accommodation/food allowance - required to source your own accommodation.

To be successful, you will have:

Proven experience operating civil plant and equipment (roller, watercart, excavator, etc.).
Construction Induction (White Card).
Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
Commitment to safe work practices and site compliance.
Experience working on solar farm or large-scale civil projects (highly regarded).
Ability to interpret site instructions and work unsupervised
